RegulAI Compliance Checker: Privacy Policy

The RegulAI Compliance Checker Chrome extension ("the extension") is published by RegulAI (regulai.io).

What the extension does

The extension checks the website you are viewing for links to four legal policies (Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, Cookies Policy, Refund Policy) and shows a score.

Data we collect

None. All scanning happens locally in your browser. The extension does not collect, store, sell or transmit your browsing history, page content, personal information or any other data. It uses no analytics or tracking.

When information leaves your browser

Only if you click the "Fix in 5 minutes" button. This opens regulai.io in a new tab, with the address of the website you were checking and its score included in the link, so the RegulAI website can pre-fill your request. From that point, the RegulAI website privacy policy applies.

Permissions

• activeTab: to show the address of the current site in the popup.
• scripting: to scan tabs that were open before installation, only when you click the icon.
• Access to websites: to scan each page locally and show the score on the toolbar icon.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date.
